Salam International Investment Limited – one of the leading exhibitors at QSI:

Salam International Investment Limited is presenting one of the largest stands at QSI 2002 with special focus on the public company’s expanding divisions related to both the infrastructure and sporting industries. Within its 150 square meter stand, Salam will display various products and services that cater to: construction, interior fitout, broadcast and audiovisual equipment, sports products, seating, catering, sports flooring and landscaping among other infrastructure services. Salam’s various subsidiaries represent many international renowned companies which will consequently be present at QSI.

The construction sector is represented by the International Trading & Contracting Company (ITC) a Grade “A” General Contracting Division which specializes in project management and construction of sizeable commercial, industrial and residential projects in Qatar. Projects completed by ITC in the sporting industry include two senior and seven junior sports clubs administration buildings and the refurbishment of four running tracks around Doha.

  Qatar Gardens, a branch of ITC has built a reputable brand name specializing in landscape design, landscaping development, construction, maintenance, irrigation systems and nursery, garden furniture and accessories. It has associated itself with renowned American companies such as Rainbird and Irridelco for the supply of garden furniture and landscaping accessories. Projects in the sporting industry include: irrigation system installation, re-grassing and maintenance of Khalifa Stadium Football Field, works at Ras Laffan Golf Course and currently the maintenance of six senior football fields.      

With regards to high quality interior fitout, Salam Industries, a leading interior decorator and furniture manufacturer in the region known for its superior quality turnkey projects, will portray many specialized and customized projects completed.

Furthermore, Alu Nasa, specialized in design, fabrication and installation of aluminium cladding, curtain walling, skylights, aluminium doors and windows, roller shutters, grills, overhead doors and automatic sliding and revolving doors will exhibit various aluminium systems and high profile project references. Alu Nasa is associated with many renowned international suppliers in the aluminium field such as Installux and Prisma.

Gulf Industries for Refrigeration & Catering will display some of their products related to their specialized activities in the design, supply and fabrication of industrial kitchen equipment, refrigeration and air conditioning, catering equipment, bakery equipment, supermarket equipment, cold storage rooms, laundry and dry cleaning equipment, refrigerated trucks and vans, freezers, display cabinets, railings and balustrades. Gulf Industries completed the supply and installation of the kitchen equipment for the Tennis & Squash Complex in Doha among other prestigious projects.        

As for the ITC Trading Division, the company manages the supply and installation and solution provisioning of specialized trading products through dealers and agent networks such as floor and wall coverings, office furniture systems, architectural hardware, sports flooring, construction building material fixings and support systems. Products represented and displayed include: Halfen-Deha, German support and hanging systems’ manufacturers, MKT, German fixings’ manufacturers, Schwelm Anlagenbau GmbH, German producer of water recycling units, Polytan, German sports surfaces specialist, Patentverwag Italia, an Italian producer and supplier of sports lockers, benches, seating and other sports’ facilities fitout.

Finally, Salam Technical Services will represent the broadcasting/audio visual sector with its specialties in the supply, installation, commissioning and after sale service of a variety of Broadcast Telecommunication Integrated Systems. It represents Sony Broadcast & Professional, Laporte from France and Polytronic International from Switzerland.
